Stewardship Program

The Open Stewardship Program

“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops”

-Proverbs 3:9

Purpose and Objectives

The Board of Directors (“Board”) and Senior Management of Open Bank are committed to the Stewardship Program and will evidence a commitment by donating ten percent of the Bank’s profits to civic, non-profit, and Christian organizations each year. The Board and Management of the Bank are so deeply committed to this concept, that the Stewardship Program will be incorporated into our annual budget.

Our commitment means that we will actively support local civic organizations, schools, and public services, in order to help insure the continuation and growth of quality services in the communities we serve. This includes support for Christian organizations that provide education, help the needy, medical care, rehabilitation, food for the hungry, and other worthy services.

Stewardship Program

Requests for the Program will be received at the end of each year and are reviewed by the members of the Stewardship Committee for distributions the following year. Although rewarding, this is a difficult task which requires prayerful consideration. There are so many organizations in need, and it is not possible to support all of the requests. Careful considerations will be made and we pledge to do our utmost to distribute resources judiciously and fairly.
