The Bank is chartered under the laws of the State of California and is subject to
supervision by the California Department of Financial Institutions. The Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation insures our deposits up to the maximum legal limit.
The Bank commenced its operations on June 10, 2005 as First Standard Bank and changed
its name to Open Bank on October 2010. We engage in the general commercial
banking business in Los Angeles County. We emphasize the banking needs of small
and medium-sized businesses, professionals and residents with a particular emphasis
on the multi-ethnic communities.
